Forgiveness = Healing

I’m revising my other book, expanding it, and retitling it. (see cover image above). I hope to be able to publish it soon-ish.

Here’s an excerpt from it (unedited draft)…

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” And he arose and departed to his house.

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Mark 2:3-9

The understanding that our precious Lord Jesus Christ conveys in this passage is that He was dealing with the same evil entity: the sin root and one of its evil fruits, paralysis.

In other words, His ability to heal the man confirmed that He, the Son of God, had the power to forgive sins since every sickness entered the world through sin at the fall.

Jesus was saying to them, “You heard Me say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you.’ Isn’t it obvious, you with evil in your hearts? Since I took care of the root cause by forgiving his sins, paralysis, an evil fruit of sin, was easily healed too. The man’s healing from paralysis is outward physical evidence that the Son of Man has the power to forgave his sins. Sickness can’t live where there’s forgiveness of sin, having its evil source destroyed.”

Do you see why the enemy accuses and attacks God’s children with condemnation and guilt? And why he’s deceived many that Paul had a “sickness” thorn in the flesh that God refused to heal because he was in “serious danger of becoming conceited”?

Forgiven child of God, there’s no need to hold onto to any sickness for the blood of Jesus has taken away its root cause perfectly and completely. We must decide to take God for His Word that we’re fully, perfectly, and forever forgiven in Christ Jesus, and thereby thank Him that all bad “sickness fruit” shrivels up and dies in our bodies now in Jesus’ name amen! *****************************************************************

So we can say…

Christ’s forgiveness = healing since His blood was applied to the root source of sickness for those in Him.

Healing is the “default setting” of the forgiven in Christ.

In Christ, being forgiven means being healed.

Healing is the physical evidence of complete forgiveness in Christ.

Child of God, the Word says those in Christ have had their ENTIRE sin debt forever forgiven. That means there’s no cause, no legal right for sickness to stay in your body! Submit to God, the Word, resist the devil, and He will flee from you. Stop paying in your flesh the debt that Jesus already paid off in FULL in His flesh!

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely He has borne our sicknesses
And carried our pains;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

To reject healing is to reject and deny and have unbelief in Christ’s victory over all sin. Saying a child of God must carry sickness rejects His truth that we are fully forgiven and made perfect in Christ.

“For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified,” (Hebrews 10:14).
